MOUNTAINS BEYOND MOUNTAINS by Tracy Kidder submitted by wfzimmerman on October 4, 2007, 9:26am This was pretty interesting. Unfortunately, I lost the book in the midst of our move from apartment to house. The library is hugely overstocked of this title because it was the focus of the annual Read-A-Thon, so I have been able to renew it 52 times so far, avoiding any overdue fines.

Good Read submitted by troze on August 21, 2014, 9:52am This book is a very well done account of Paul Farmer's medical work in Haiti and elsewhere. It also does a great job of setting up the background on how PIH was established, as well as the basic beliefs that drive the foundation. Overall a great book for anyone who is interested in medical work in developing countries.
