Awesome Empowering Country Music submitted by Meginator on July 12, 2018, 10:14am Carrie Underwood's voice is absolutely perfect for the type of country music she sings, and there's a lot more to her songs than meets the eye. Her lyrics are empowering and tell great stories, and the album is well balanced between pop-inflected songs and ballads, both of which Underwood performs well. This is a great album to listen to even if you're not normally a fan of country music.
