Surprisingly relevant to my interests submitted by nsvinicki on June 17, 2017, 9:18am I've always had a hard time getting into the first run of Hellblazer comics, until I picked up this newer iteration. The art is beautiful and much easier to follow, and the story is engrossing and interesting. My favorite bit about this volume is the second story told - Constantine is called back to London by an old punk bandmate over concern for the ghost of Sid Vicious. I never pictures John as an old school punk, but it's surprisingly fitting. The story itself, without giving too much away, is about continuing the fight against toxic establishment, even after the fight seems over. It also lines lined up with my experiences as a goth in the mid 2000's, and made me realize I'm more punk then I ever thought. Definitely worth a read, and doesn't require you read any other Hellblazer volumes for it to make sense.
