Fun book submitted by ejmarcash on June 17, 2013, 9:44pm After the first few pages, my kids, 4 and 5, were excited in their anticipation to find out what happens on the next page. It's a great cause and effect storyline minus the high-tech wizardry. You and your kids will enjoy this book.

fun submitted by Jacinda.abc on June 24, 2013, 9:52am I love this book ever since i found out that there's nothing to press well maybe theres one thing to press. i still loved it its a perfect and a fact is that i'm from the bay area kids will love this book

super-creative! submitted by fairytale on July 23, 2013, 8:56pm This book is SO creative. It really will knock your socks off. Keeps kids guessing what will happen next. So cool that the reader has an effect on the story as it unfolds!

no batteries required submitted by gelaadl on July 27, 2013, 9:23pm I was quite impressed with book when a librarian pointed it out to me. "Press Here" instructs the reader to perform some action on the page - press a dot, shake the book, etc. The result is displayed with the turn of a page. How interactive! It's refreshing in a world filled with portable game systems and smartphones, and it handily dismisses the notion that books are static. A great experience for parents and children, anticipating how the book will react to their actions, as if by magic.

Great picture book submitted by manz on August 9, 2013, 10:41am Kids will love interacting with this book. Which is basically pressing colored dots on the pages. And shaking the book. And turning it upside. And clapping. Oh so much fun. A great readaloud!

Simple interactive book submitted by Mandyghutton on July 5, 2017, 10:46pm This book is really fun for younger kids. They can feel like they're contributing to the reading process by pressing the dots on the pages, tipping the book, etc. My daughter likes to press a "secret dot" on the very last page that "closes the book", according to her.

Fun and engaging submitted by stellare on August 22, 2018, 3:57pm Great interactive book! Both my kids enjoy it a lot (ages 3 and 6).

Great title submitted by katwallevand on August 7, 2019, 11:34am great book for all ages and reading levels, love it as a read aloud

Clever and delightful submitted by unknown on July 13, 2020, 5:00pm My kids LOVE this book, and have for a long time -- the 8 year old still loves it, despite the fact that it is geared toward younger kids.

Interactive Picture Book submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 8:16am This delightful interactive picture book is full of surprises as it gently pushes the boundaries of what reading can be. The simple illustrations feature colored dots shifting and changing in response to simple commands, with the reader alternately poking and moving the book. Tullet draws a lot of a relatively straightforward premise, with unexpected developments popping up just when you think you’ve figured out what’s going to happen next. This is an outstanding choice for reading aloud and repeat readers will enjoy introducing new companions to the experience.

All of the graphic designs are spectacular submitted by elliott elenich on June 25, 2022, 11:46am I’m not sure how they created such an amazing book

True confession from a parent submitted by robinpollak on August 4, 2022, 7:51pm This is an amazing, creative, wonderful, playful book! But I cannot keep up with my kids' appetites for this book, so sometimes I have to hide it for my own sanity.

A review from a 5-year-old submitted by curiousliz on June 9, 2023, 7:27pm Good! I like doing the things in it.
