Very warm sound submitted by MochaMage on March 6, 2017, 11:06am This has become another one of my favorite distortion pedals available from AADL, it has a very warm tone but still gives a very good distortion and works great with high gain so it is great for metal lead guitar. It could also work great for rhythm punk.

classic distortion submitted by danherb on September 12, 2021, 11:31am Along with the ubiquitous boss ds1, this Rat pedal gives you "the" classic distortion sound. Adjustable tone didn't seem all that helpful - you kind of get it into one good spot and keep it there. I'm typically more into overdrives and fuzz, but enjoyed playing this a lot.
