Enjoyed it! submitted by rimpopu on August 16, 2014, 8:59am Our family really enjoyed playing skittles. We started with the rules but soon it started changing several times thanks to the little ones. It is easier to play if you place the pins on a flat card board. Otherwise they keep falling on the grass. It is wonderful that we can borrow such lawn games from the library. It saves you from purchasing them especially if you have kids who loose interest easily and want to move on to something else. You are not stuck with a purchase that stays on the shelf most of the time of the year. So thank you AADL! We are planning to try more lawn games this year.

FIRSTLY SET THE 9 SKITTLES UP IN A DIAMOND FORMATION, WITH EACH PIN ABOUT 16 CM APART. THE THROWING POINT IS NORMALLY 5 METRES.

I decided it would be more fun to just bowl with the pins, and not worry about converting the metric system. The wooden pins are nicely made, and it was very fun to "Skittle" outside.

Such a great idea submitted by good2grea8 on June 19, 2017, 2:56pm We got this for Memorial Day for work and set it up on the lawn where it was a big hit with all ages! Such a great idea for the library to do this.

Lawn games are great submitted by trina05 on June 29, 2023, 12:17pm Kiddos had a ton of fun. Sometimes they followed along with the rules, and sometimes they made up their own game. Whenever something is open ended enough for them to be creative, it feels like a win
