Fantastic!! submitted by Gabriela Valderrama on February 20, 2017, 2:27pm A very touching story with a great perspective on immigration and deportation in America, as well as racism and family pressure. Pretty great character development and ending as well. A very worthwhile read!

Amazing submitted by LijunHan on July 6, 2017, 8:46am Really good book! highly reccomend

Wonderful submitted by Justin Shim on July 21, 2017, 7:48pm Great heartfelt story, plus it was more diverse and showed some real life issues.

Terrific story submitted by Juliettie on August 9, 2017, 7:53am The science mixed with story is great. Well-developed characters that I actually cared about!

Great Book submitted by katy winkler on July 13, 2018, 10:42am I really enjoyed this book. I found this book because of one of my other favorite books, Everything Everything, also by Nicola Yoon.

Heartwarming submitted by kirterry on August 28, 2018, 10:07am I loved Daniel and Natasha's story -- their day together felt both magical and very real at the same time -- but I also appreciated the short chapters giving background on the other characters they interacted with.

good submitted by sariw on June 20, 2019, 7:43pm touching but unrealistic.

Cute submitted by c_zhang on June 28, 2019, 12:27am I loved how this book was written. Although Yoon's books are unrealistic, this book was touching and cute nonetheless.

great submitted by eyconrad on June 28, 2019, 7:54pm loved the plot and the unforgetable characters

Pretty good submitted by zmclaugh on July 18, 2019, 1:33pm I like the confined-by-time trope, so I already was probably going to enjoy this book. The added social commentary was a bonus.

Nope submitted by zora on July 28, 2019, 5:03pm Insta love? check. girl falls for boy under really dumb circumstances? You got it. This book is pretty much just 400 pages of cringe. The only part that I really liked about this book was that it was fast. It was fast enough that it could keep me reading until the end of the book. Any slower and I don't think I would have made it past page 10.

Quick Summer Read submitted by danayerace on July 29, 2019, 8:45am This book is a quick read if you are looking for a book to read on the beach or relax this summer. I found the story about the couple somewhat interesting but really enjoyed the added content on different subjects - ranging from hair to dark matter. I liked this book better than Nicola Yoon's first "Everything, Everything".

cute teen romance submitted by laurenalysse on August 19, 2020, 1:52pm I read this book as an adult and enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed reading the perspectives of immigrants. The love story is from the YA perspective and that YA mindset is well represented in the story. I enjoyed the side-stories of the various characters that the main characters interact with, as well as the discussion of scientific concepts.

Great summer read submitted by legalmama on June 14, 2021, 11:09pm I don’t usually need young adult fiction and this book made me realize that by skipping it, I have been completely missing out on a youth perspective, not just in my reading but in my life. The book does a great job of capturing some of the emotions of being a teenager whose fate is still tied to your parents’ decisions.

The Sun is Also a Star submitted by jhaberich on August 22, 2022, 12:34pm You pick up this book expecting it to be amazing, reviews everywhere, bestseller, totally famous book. And what is it? Amazing! It's romantic and heartwarming, all the characters have so many layers, it's just exactly what you expect. It's inspiring and I immediately searched for more books by this author - and found Everything, Everything, also amazing!!

Nice. submitted by tingzhaoum on July 24, 2023, 5:51pm The characters all have different POVs, and it intertwines the story together.
