The Ann Arbor Adventures is a picture book series that captures the magic of the city of Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor has many places that cater to kids’ minds, creativity, abilities, and growth. There are numerous things to do in this wonderful city that will create lasting memories for children. These places deserve to be celebrated.

Scratches the Surface But Still Informative submitted by krogers on July 2, 2025, 12:18pm Although this doesn't completely cover just how warm and unique the various branches are (and missed an opportunity to show the Pittsfield air/ball machine), it does do a remarkable job of putting the reader into the spaces that are actually there so one can see just how different the branches are and what one can do there. In doing so, it also gives an inkling of how many things our library system offers. All in all, it's a nice virtual tour.

Amazing! submitted by AzimS on July 7, 2025, 7:12pm This book is a wonderfully illustrated book about the library experience at AADL -- I appreciate how the author highlights the many engaging (and free) activities you can do at the library beyond the usual reading books. The book makes the library look like the place to be and a space where everyone is welcome to come and learn about the world as well as develop your art skills! Very accurate portrayal!

The easy descriptions of the Ann Arbor libraries and everything they have to offer are *just right* for every reader. I think local kids would really treasure this. How cool is it to have a book about something in your own town? And if it's Summer, look closely for something you might use in the summer game ;)
