Empires! They’re great, right? Too big to fail, some might say. Well, all good things must come to an end, and these empires all rose to meteoric heights and then fell apart, often quite quickly. We’re going to start this wild ride through history with none other than the Roman Empire. At its height, the empire comprised 20% of the world’s population at the time. It was PRETTY BIG. The Roman Empire started out as a republic, where different towns and cities were able to govern themselves, and Rome in the larger sense was ruled by elected magistrates. Many people attribute the birth of Democracy to the Roman Republic!

I found all other clues but 3rd one. I searched the word Barbarian in catalog and checked all results but can not find 3rd clue.
