I had entered the code previously (stumbled upon the code while looking to request the DVD) and now the badge won’t unlock the next hint. What should I do?

Sorry, that is wrong—I should have said that I had stumbled upon the final code last week and entered it, but now while the game recognizes that I’ve already entered the code, it does not recognize that I’ve earned the badge.
