The Ann Arbor District Library is pleased to announce the release of five literary works under the Fifth Avenue Press imprint for 2018. Listen to a brief reading of each title, meet the authors, buy their books, get them signed, and enjoy light refreshments!
Our local authors have something to offer for just about every reader. For younger children, Fifth Avenue Press is releasing three picture books and a comic for all ages; for teens, a fantasy, and for adults, a realistic fiction novel!
Paint the Night, a picture book written and illustrated by Tracy Gallup
We Thought We Knew You, realistic adult fiction by Linda Jeffries
Akeina the Crocodile, a picture book written and illustrated by Brad and Kristin Northrop.
Snail, I Love You, a picture book written and illustrated by Tevah Platt, Willa Thiel and Becky Grover
Setting the Record Straight, a teen fantasy by V.W. Shurtliff

It would be awesome if they added kids'/middle grade books too...

Hello! There are 3 picture books this time so there's a lot for kids since they are great read alouds for a variety of ages, but we are limited by what gets submitted and accepted. Kid's chapter books and middle grade novels haven't been submitted much yet, but we're looking for EVERYTHING! Hope you make it to the event on Sunday! - erin
