Description

Learn about the basics of soapmaking by watching a live demonstration from start to finish, led by local soapmaker Stephanie Hawkes. During the demonstration, participants will learn about various ingredients that can be used to produce a great bar of soap, from natural ingredients and botanicals to man-made colorants and fragrances. Proper safety measures and how to handle mistakes along the way will also be covered. At the conclusion of the workshop, everyone will leave with their own piece of spring-inspired soap!
