I think you should allow my expired card to use the library during this difficult time. I won't pay the $150 fee untilI I can come into the library, pay my fee and physically use the library. I live in Dexter and have a Dexter card. I pay the fee to use the A2 Library because it is more convenient but I'm not going to renew that card until I can actually use the library.

I moved to Ann Arbor 1 month ago. To get a new library card, according to above comments, only school teachers are ok but others are not mentioned, unfortunately. I’d like to read ebooks with my daughter who are bored to read the same books. Is there any process to access and download ebooks with temporary library card numbers?

My library card will be expired in three months. How many months before can I start requesting for renew my library card?

Don't worry about it right now! We are extending expiration dates routinely, and if your card expires 5/1/2021 it will be renewed automatically as we get closer to that if we're still not open for browsing. In any case, we'll help you out, so don't worry about your card expiring on you!

My card has expired. I emailed the form for renewal along with a photo of my library card and driver's license on Saturday It still shows as expired on Sunday night. I always pay, because I don't live within the city. Should I stop in at West with a check?

Hi there, you can renew your card in person at any AADL location! Just bring something that has your current address and your name on it, like a bill or a piece of mail, or a lease / title. Thanks for your interest!
