I can't get past the first 2 steps before becoming terribly lost. The help commands are not useful. What should I be doing?
I didn't download any additional software.

Here are some tips to make this easier. Go to the armory first (north), then come back south to where you started, then keep going south until your path is blocked. Then you have a choice to go either east or west. You don't need to download any additional software but can play right in your computer's browser. Good luck!

This was awesome! I love choose your own adventure stories, so this was really fun! it took me four times to get it right! Here's a hint-USE YOUR SHIELD AS A BOAT.

Thanks for posting! It's great to know that you enjoyed the story. Chapter 2 will be posted around February 6th and is quite different from this one. As a tip, it's usually best to leave out articles and possessive pronouns from commands. So "Use your newspaper as a hat" will probably not be understood by the game engine. But "Use newspaper as hat" should be.
