I found "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide" by Carol Anderson to be a powerful and informative read. I also enjoyed "The Fire Next Time," but I am a big James Baldwin fan. He was a true master of words, fiction and nonfiction alike.

Thanks for your comment! I also found "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide" to be very compelling. As a fellow James Baldwin fan I recommend "Begin Again: James Baldwin's America and Its Lessons For Our Own" by Eddie S. Glaude Jr.
