Violin Battles

When you think of violin music, you might not immediately think of rock, pop, and electronic dance, but that’s the kind of music Lindsey Stirling makes! In addition to being a “hip-hop” violinist, she is also a dancer and dances while she plays the violin. In fact, this was her special talent when she auditioned on America’s Got Talent in 2010. After being eliminated in the quartet- er, quarter finals, she began making music videos that became wildly popular! Her YouTube channel is up to 12.8 million subscribers.
