We are taking gaming events on the road this summer and we are doing "two laps" through all the branches!! 

In order to get this badge, you must get ONE code from EACH section listed: 

 

-Section 1-

June 17 at 1pm- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Click here for more information)

-Section 2-

July 9 at 1pm- Pokémon Sword and Shield (Click here for more information)

July 15 at 1pm- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Click here for more information)

Be on the lookout for Lap 2 later this summer!! Earning the Lap 1 and Lap 2 badges may even earn you the Ultimate Trophy at the end of the summer!!

Hi! You're right! You DO need to attend events to get the event code! There was a hiccup this year toward the beginning of the game where event codes were unintentionally on the website, but that has been fixed! Sorry for the confusion! :)

Were all those Nintendo Switches offered up personally by the staff? For a moment, I thought it meant that the Library now loaned out consoles or maybe even just the Switch Games to borrow (new catalog item idea?? haha). But regardless, it was a lot of equipment to organize and it seemed like everyone was having a good time.

That's a great question! The library has some game consoles specifically for these gaming tournaments and we do not currently have consoles or video games in circulation. So stay tuned for more events like this one ALL SUMMER LONG!!!

Oh No! I went to the smash bros event, but forgot to grab the code! is there a way I can get the code?
