This appears to count everything as 1 point. Correct? I just performed several newsprint ones (6 points each), but only received one point for each for this badge.

It's really counting the ACTION of playing Points-O-Matic. We updated the description to make that more clear, because, yes, News Sprinter does earn 6pts per action and it doesn't affect how these badges tally up how many TIMES a Points-O-Matic mode was played. Thanks for asking and hope it makes sense now! :)
