Comments

Would be possible for me to display a larger LEGO artwork (~50" x 50") to the 2023 AADL LEGO contest. I understand that the artwork would not be eligible for a prize, since it exceeds the size limits. I create mosaic artwork (2-dimensional) using hand-painted LEGO, and last year at the 2022 AADL LEGO contest I displayed an MLK-themed piece called "Revolutionary." Attendees really seemed to enjoy checking it out.
In case you'd like to see examples of my LEGO art, here's a link to my website: http://www.brickmaniac.com & Instagram @brickmosaics
Thanks so much for considering this request!

Hello,

This is our first time participating for Lego Contest. Please can you let me know how do I register my son for this event?

Thank you

There's no advance registration. Just come to the hotel between 9 AM and 1 PM to drop off your project and you'll fill out the entry form then. The room opens for viewing at 4 PM, and the awards ceremony is at 6 PM. Most importantly, you have to take your project back home after the awards ceremony ends at 6:30! Looking forward to seeing you there!

We're sorry, we no longer post the winners of this event. Asking entrants for permission to post is not part of participating in the event (and we don't want it to be) and with so many young people participating in such a long-running event, it mostly leads to later requests to try to remove information from the web. Sorry, but this event exists at a moment in time, not for posterity! =)
