1 c. grits
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
4 c. water (grated)
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 T. butter
1 small can condensed milk

Cook grits, water and salt in double boiler until tender. Add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into casserole and bake in 325 degree oven about 30 minutes or until slightly brown.
