Dead Media Day is Sunday, October 12 at the Downtown Library.
Dead Media Day is Ann Arbor’s celebration of bygone forms of media, entertainment, and ephemera. Join us for a day of vendors selling vintage and rare pieces of media, exhibits, hands-on demonstrations and crafts, and short informative talks.
Everything from old TVs, VHS, audio cassettes, film, cameras and projectors, HiFi audio equipment, vintage electronics & video games, pulp novels, and more defunct or endangered media formats will be for sale and on display.
Interested in being an exhibitor or vendor at Dead Media Day?
Are you an enthusiast for dead media?
Do you like sharing your knowledge with the public through demonstrations or hands-on activities?
Do you have cool stuff to sell?
We think our first-ever Dead Media Day is going to be a very popular event in October! AADL has a track record of regularly hosting large festivals and expos at the Downtown Library, like Tiny Expo, Game Con, the Ann Arbor Fiber Arts Expo, Record Store Day, Gardening & Farm Fest, and more! These events draw thousands of people to the library, from 3,500 people who attended Record Store Day in 2025 to 3,900 who attended this year's Gardening & Farm Fest.
Apply to be an exhibitor or vendor at Dead Media Day! Table demos are encouraged for vendors, but not required.
Vendor applications are now open through July 25! Click to apply!
