Billy’s Trip to Seattle
One day a very, very long time ago Billy took a Delta flight to Seattle. When Billy arrived at the airport his cousins, Jeff and Sara, picked him up and took him to their house. When they were on their way home they ran into Bob and said ‘’Hi,’’ and Bob said, “What are you doing today?” Sara and Jeff said ``We are not doing anything today would you like to come over?’’ Bob said, “Sorry I’m busy with a lot of sports to play maybe some other time you guys can come over and play. Thanks for asking. Okay, well, bye then.” Billy and his cousins went back home and went to bed. The next day Billy and his cousins went to the park and played games. Then they went to sleep and woke up and ate pancakes with strawberries and whip cream and after they went on a magical tour and it was fun and it was called the Duck Tour. After the tour they had snacks. The next day they went to the Spanish Gardens and saw beautiful bright yellow flowers and climbed trees. Then Billy’s cousins had ukulele lessons for three whole hours, which they had to listen and watch.
In Seattle, it can get very hot and they lived so close to the park that they didn’t have to drive a car they could just walk to the park without a coat on. They walked to the park, but it ended up raining and Billy and his cousins got soaked. The next day they went to an ocean in Seattle and they saw Bob. Bob came over to say hi and asked Bob if he wanted to build sand castles. Bob said he wanted to build the tallest one in the world. And so Billy and his cousins and Bob were willing to build the tallest sand castle in the world. It was very fun and after they finished they were so tired that they almost fell asleep. To wake them up they asked their parents if they could have popsicles and their parents agreed. Then it was time for everybody to leave.
When Billy got home he and his cousins Jeff and Sara watched a movie called ‘’Bright World,” which was about kids and treating them with respect even though they might be a different type of skin color. And, when they saw the movie they felt sad seeing people treat each other badly so Billy and a group of friends went to schools and helped kids build relationships with each other and appreciate the many differences. The next day Billy and his cousins went to the zoo and saw different types of animals. One was a monkey and they had a lot of fun. Then they went to see the Space Needle and saw that it is one of the tallest tours in Seattle, Washington. They learned a lot about the Space Needle. Then the next day they went to a really cool circus called the “Quick with a Switch Circus” and they saw cool magic tricks like tigers jumping in the light-up hoops. Then the day was over and everybody was so tired because of the crazy day today everybody fell straight asleep. Then everybody woke up and came downstairs to eat breakfast together. They started to get ready, because they were going to go canoe and swim!
For lunch they came back home and grilled vegetables, afterwards we had healthy milk shakes. After they danced to a bunch of different songs. It was so much fun. The next day they
were getting ready to go to downtown Seattle and see all the people riding bikes, cars, and walking around eating ice cream. Then the next day they went to the first Starbucks ever created. Starbucks was such a small business and now it’s really big and popular and they have all the drinks you could possibly imagine. One of them is hot chocolate and in the inside it is really cool very cool and smells so good.
Then they went and had a picnic with sandwiches and other types of food you would eat on a picnic. They went to bed and had a slumber party with their friend Bob and watched movies all night long until 12 am. Then they woke up and dropped Bob back over to his house and Bobs’ parents thanked them for helping. Then Billy and his cousins went home and thought today they should just relax and not do anything so that’s what they did the whole day. Then they went to bed and fell asleep as fast as possible so they would not get into trouble by Billy’s parents. Then they woke up and said today let’s go to one of those waterparks. So, they got dressed in their swim suits and took off to the waterpark. We also had ice cream and different types of desserts. Then they went back home and watched a movie. The movie was called Ivan and then the day was sadly over. They were sad that the trip was coming to an end. And then the next morning they left Seattle and came back to Michigan and their mom, Harriett, picked them up and the trip to Seattle was over...
