Harry’s Prank
It was a very dark night, and Harry was sitting by the fire. All the power was out in the house. Harry was just sitting, reading a book, and minding his own business when he heard a shrill scream that sent chills up his spine. Harry got really scared, so he looked around with a flashlight for his parents. Surprisingly, Harry could not find his parents anywhere. The only person that he could find was his dog Remmy. Now Harry did not tell his parents, but things lately have been getting very strange. Harry did not want to tell his parents because they might think he is crazy, but now Harry regrets not telling his parents anything. Harry was getting more scared each minute because he started to see some strange things in the shadows. Harry slowly started to walk near the cold darkness. His flashlight was trembling in his hand. He shined the light in the darkness and he regretted that, for he saw no one standing there in dark, but he saw a picture of himself floating in mid air next to his bedroom doorway. Harry was petrified, for he could not move at all. He just stood there, blankly looking at the picture of him. It felt like a whole hour passed to Harry, but really it was not an hour. Suddenly the picture started to move, but it started to move toward Harry!! Harry tried to move out of the way, but he couldn't. Harry felt something cold and wet on his hand, then the picture disappeared.
Harry quickly ran into his bedroom and shut the door and said, “ This place is so dark I wish I could turn this light. Oh, well it does not hurt to try.” So Harry decided to just try it for the fun. Harry flicked on the light the light started to flicker on and off then it stayed on. “ I can't believe that it worked! Thank goodness now I have a light.” Harry was exhausted from running to his room. Harry was really tired so he decided to take a big risk and go to bed. Before Harry could go to bed he heard some strange noises out of his closet. Harry trembled as he step on the cheeky wood floor. Harry slowly opened the door the his closet when suddenly something popped out!! Harry screamed “NO MONSTER DON’T EAT ME PLEASE!!!!!” Harry expected to feel a jolt of pain, but instead he heard laughter. Harry looked up and realized that is was his friend Mike.
“ Dude you screamed like a little girl!!! I pranked you dude this was all a prank because you forgot to go to my birthday party. The worst part of this too was your parents were in on this!!!”
“ Omg dude you scarred me so much and nice work on getting the effect of something grabbing me that was not there” said Harry
“ Ummm dude I did not do that” said mike “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO NOW WE ARE BOTH DOOMED!!!”
