Madden or Not
Once Ocean, Zain and Tys were playing Madden Mobile. Ocean was playing on the
Panthers, Zain was playing on the Seahawks and Tys was playing on the Chiefs. All of a sud- den
the phone rang. It was the NFL. A voice said, ÒIs this Ocean, Tys and Zain? You guys are drafted to go to the NFL.Ó They screamed, ÒYAHOO!Ó ÒCome at once,Ó the caller said.
There were a lot of people there. They were happy but sad. They did not want
to play on different teams, they wanted to play together. Right then a man walked on the stage and said, ÒI will tell the draft picks. Brady is going to the Patriots.Ó Tom walked up to the stage and got his jersey. They were happy for their teammate. He walked off the stage.
ÒNext,Ó the man said, ÔOcean.Ó They all looked at him. ÒGood luck,Ó they said.
Ocean walked up on the stage. The man said, ÒOcean will play for...Ó his heart was beating Ò...For the Packers!Ó
Zain and Tys gave him a thumbs up okay. Ocean walked off the stage. ÒNext up is Zain.Ó Zain walked onto the stage. ÒZain will play for...Ó He wanted the same team as Ocean. He crossed his fingers and whispered, ÒGreen bay Packers.Ó Ò...For the Packers!Ó said the man. Zain was happy that he got the same team. He took his jersey. Ocean hugged him and said, ÒTeammates again!Ó
The man said, ÒNext is Tys.Ó He walked up shivering. The man took off his reading glasses. ÒTys is going to...Ó Tys was sweating. Ò...to the Cowboys!Ó
Tys frowned. ÒItÕs okay,Ó Ocean said. Then the man said, ÒNo, the Giants... no, the...Ó The
place was full of laughter. The man put on his glasses. The man said in a stern voice, ÒTys is going to the Packers.Ó ÒYES!!!Ó Ocean and Zain yelled happily. Tys grabbed his jersey
and ran off the stage. They put their arms on each othersÕ shoulders and jumped up and down. After they looked at their numbers, Ocean was #1, Zain was #2 and Tys was #3. Wow! 1,2,3! They went home to move from Michigan to Wisconsin. They packed up to leave. ÒGreat
weÕre on the same team but the bad news is the Packers stink!Ó said Tys. ÒWell, we can change

that,Ó Zain said.
The next day they woke up. Ocean said, ÒI had the weirdest dream.Ó Tys cut in, ÒWas it sad?
Was it about losing all our games?Ó
ÒNo,Ó Ocean said, Òit was good. We got a great quarterback.Ó Ocean told his story when
Zain got the Cheerios and milk. Zain made breakfast.
They moved to a hotel. It was their first game. Cobb was there and, no way it was too
great to be true, Aaron Rogers! They got on their suits and flew to Miami Florida. It was great.
They played Madden Mobile on the way. After they landed they stopped at a hotel. Dang it was
hot. They went on the field sweaty and hot. They went on their bench. Their coach said,
ÒOcean, Zain and Tys, you are the captains for today.Ó They ran to the middle of the field. They
called heads. The coin went high in the air. ÒIt is heads.Ó The crowd went wild. ÒWe want to kick,Ó
they said. ÒOkay,Ó said the ref. ÒWhat side do you want, Green bay?Ó ÒRight side,Ó Zain said. ÒOkay. I wish both a great game.Ó
The announcer said, ÒTys went to receive. Tys in the end zone to receive. Long kick. Tys gets the ball, heÕs running to the 10, the 20, the 25, the 50! HeÕs a runner! HeÕs in Miami territory in the 10! Touchdown! Extra point, good! Score 7 to 0 Packers.Ó
Near the end of the game the score was 28 to 34 Miami with 5 seconds left. ÒKick off,Ó the announcer said. ÒTys gets it. He is running.. at the 50, the 40, he laterals the ball to Ocean. Ocean is at the 20. He laterals the ball to Zain. Zain is at the 10, the 5, the 1... PACKERS WIN!!!Ó
A couple months later the Packers went to the Super Bowl and lost to the Cowboys, 56 to 35. It was a heart breaker. ÒNext year,Ó they all said frowning. They went to bed tired. It was very late.
The next day Ocean, Tys and Zain practiced hard for the next year. They were playing Madden and just having fun and went to the store and bought a huge pro pack bundle and in side were a lot of cards. They looked at 3 and they were all gold. The names were Zain,Tys and

Ocean. ÒWeÕre in Madden Mobile!Ó they screamed. It was the best day of their lives.
A few days later they were watching a Central Michigan vs Ohio State football game. There was a guy named Aiden. He was a heck of a runner. He was a running back for CMU.
Two months later the draft pick was on. The man said, ÒThe number 1 draft pick is Aiden, going to the... Patriots!Ó Aiden got his jersey and went off the stage. In the Super Bowl finals was the Patriots vs. Panthers and Packers vs. Cowboys. ÒOh-no,Ó Ocean said. ÒWe lost last time in a blow out.Ó
The Patriots won. The Packers also won by a thread. It was going to be a big battle. Who would win?
It was a sunny day in California. The Packers were playing the Patriots in the Super
Bowl. The announcer said, ÒHere is the kick off to the Patriots. Aiden in the end zone. He will
take it out. HeÕs at the 10 and hit hard! Ouch! Wait, the ball is loose! The Packers recover...
Zain! Touchdown Packers! 6 to 0. Extra point... A FAKE... so early for a 2 POINT CONVER- SION
and... GOOD! The score is 8 to 0 Packers. Aiden canÕt muff this one or he is fired.Ó
ÒWell he did muff it so heÕs lost his first Super Bowl for him and his team. LetÕs look at the
Packers. They were the under dog the whole game. Well what will Aiden do? HeÕs fired.Ó
A couple weeks later Aiden was struggling to find a team. He finally found the Packers
and went there. Meanwhile Ocean, Zain and Tys were playing a video game called Fifa 15. They were happy about their win of the Super Bowl and that they beat the Patriots. It was fun.
A month later they were playing their first game with Aiden. 10 seconds left... Hail Mary... Ocean, 3 finger catch! And fumbled! And Aiden recovered the ball. Wow, Packers win!
Two years later Ocean, Tys and Zain retired. It was too easy. They went to the Super Bowl 4 times in row and won 3 of them. It was 3 great years for them. Aiden still plays and led the Packers to a fifth Super Bowl championship.
