My Upsidedown World!
Darkness... A flash from the stars. Then my world appears and tells me their name. I hear “Nora! Hi Nora!”
It all comes into focus...
11 years later
Ring! The bottom of shoes press against the cold, hard stone. I see Sara sitting under a tree working on her math homework. Her light blond hair twirls around her finger. The sun shimmers against her bright green eyes.I walk over. She looks up at me then stands up. “Ready to walk home?”
She nods.
We start walking toward our neighborhood. The trees dance in the wind.
I glimpse something in the sky.
Then I realize it was heading right toward us! It was a meteor!
“Run!” calls Sara.
I run toward home.
I look back and see it’s following me! I run faster and faster!
CRASH!
The meteor crashes right in front of me! I was about to touch it but Sara pulls
me back.
“You could have been killed!” I
could see her face was as pale as stone. I shrug. I turn back to touch it.
But Sara grabs my hand “Stop. Don’t touch it. Please. Before you make your decision I
have to tell you something... She trailed off.
“It’s that... well I’M ONLY HALF HUMAN!” My mouth flung open.
“The star gods told me that I should come to tell you... you're in danger!”
“Well I’m not now! The meteor already crashed!”
“Trust me don’t touch it!” “How can I trust you now!?”
I turned and touch the meteor.
Slowly I lead my fingers down and down until.. Click! Confused I took my
fingers off.
Then it all went black...
