See-Through
Sela Balie was walking home from school with her cousin Ayla Balie and birdy, their talking bird. As they walked further and further into their new neighborhood, Sela was feeling weirder and weirder, she knew that the new house was big but all the kids that she wasnÕt friends with from her school lived here.
ÒUhgÓshe said to Ayla as they got into their new home, it was big, majestic and too much. ÒOooooo!Ó said Ayla ÒIÕm gunner check out our room!Ó ÒIÕll come too.Ó Sela exclaimed glumly. ÒIÕve put your boxes in your rooms for you to unpack them.Ó Said SelaÕs Mom. Their room was also big and majestic, it had two double beds, pink and blue wall paper, a flat screen TV, two computers, two window seats with huge white curtains. Their 3 cats and 2 dogs were jumping on Selas bed. ÒIÕm tired letÕs go to bed and unpack in the morning.Ó Òok.Ó Said Ayla
Sela and Ayla got out of bed and went down stairs to breakfast. Selas mom was making muffins for breakfast. ÓUghÓ said Ayla Òcome on Layla stop licking me!Ó ÒWell thatÕs what you get if you donÕt take a shower.Ó Sela teased. Her mom scowled at her. ÒWhat?Ó Sela said. Ònothing.Ó Her mom said. ÒAyla letÕs go.Ó Sela said and picked up her bag and Ayla followed her out in the LA sunshine. A few minutes
later they meet an old women outside her cottage. ÒHello dearsÓ she said warmly, ÒhelloÓ said Ayla, and Sela waved. Suddenly it started raining.
ÒOh dear, you two better come inside,Ó said the old woman Òmy names Elsa by-the-way.Ó ÒIÕm Ayla and this is Sela, and thank you I really donÕt want to get that wet.Ó Said Ayla and the two cousins walked into the welcoming house with Elsa and the Talking bird on SelaÕs shoulder ÒDo you really think this is a good idea?Ó the Talking bird asked Òshe seems nice enough donÕt you think?Ó Sela whispered back. ÒFine, just be careful.Ó The bird warned. Sela and Ayla suddenly smelt cakes!
ÒDo you two want some chocolate cake?Ó Elsa asked, the cousins were wide eyed and their mouths were watering ÒYes Please!Ó they both said at once. ÒGreen icing or red?Ó Elsa asked ÒRed please!Ó the girls said. Elsa placed in front of them two steaming hot chocolate cupcakes, Sela and Ayla immediately gobbled up their cakes and suddenly the rain stopped.
Ayla and Sela thanked Elsa for the cupcakes and left for school. Ayla looked green Òwhat was in those cakes, letÕs go home Sela.Ó ÒOk.Ó Sela said and they ran home. ÒMom! Mom!Ó Sela and Ayla said, no one answered, they tried again, still no one answered Òwhat is happening?!Ó Sela said as she checked her phones camera so she could see herself, there was nothing there! Sela screamed Òwhat is it?Ó Ayla
asked ÒI canÕt s-see myself!Ó Sela screamed Òwhat?!Ó Ayla screamed
ÒI told you not to go in thereÓ said the bird ÒHOW COME YOU CAN SEE US IF NO ONE ELS CAN!?Ó Ayla screamed ÒITS LIKE WÕER INVISEBEL!Ó ÒBut you areÓ the bird said Òand I know how to revers it!Ó he said enthusiastically ÒHOW!?Ó Ayla and Sela said Òby going into the enchanted forest.Ó The bird said, Ayla and Sela were gasping, ÒBUT THATÕS THE ENCHANTER FOREST, NO ONE GOSE INTO THE ENCHANTED FOREST! EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!Ó The girls said Òbut no oneÕs ever been there though, so how do you know?Ó the bird replied ÒitÕs acutely petty nice.Ó They had a really long conversation, and eventually they agreed to go.
Ayla was crying ÒBUT ITS D-DANGEROS IN THERE!Ó ÒBut its worth trying because I know where everything is,Ó the bird said ÒBut... the black bear does have problems.Ó Ayla was crying harder and harder, ÒBLACK BEAR!!!Ó she screamed ÒITS EVEN WORS THAN THE FROGS!Ó ÒHay, Hay, Hay, Hay, there are deerÕs and squirrels.Ó The bird said AylaÕs crying turned into an oh-my-gosh-I-canÕt- believe-it face, ÒREALLY?Ó she said Sela embarrassingly slapped her forehead. ÒAyla donÕt you think we can get whatever food we want now we are invisible?Ó Sela said and looked up at the bird, ÒWow, being invisible is kinder cool if you think about it, ooh what if we drive to Disney!?Ó ÒNo, obviously, birdy what do you need us to do?Ó ÒWell, you
need one of my tail fathers, and we need to go to the enchanted forest garden to get a tree crystal, these items sound weird right?Ó Sela and Ayla nodded ÒOkay IÕm ready to allow mom to see me in less in 48 hours, letÕs go.Ó Sela replied
ÒWow, Wow, Wow, Wow!Ó Ayla said dreamily ÒitÕs so pretty here! Why didnÕt you show us this before birdy?Ó ÒBecause I thought that black bear would scare you.Ó The Bird said ÒB- b-b-black b-bear?!Ó Ayla quivered Òwhere?Ó the bird pointed to a water fall and a black bear was fishing right there. Ayla turned white but Sela was staring at the bear with aww ÒheÕs so cute!Ó ÒScaryÓ Ayla said as soon as Sela said cute. ÒBear! Come over and meet my friends Sela and Ayla Baile!Ó the bear looked up from the water fall, he was big, he had midnight blue eyes, and black fur, Òhi birdy! I was just getting lunch for the cubs, want any girls?Ó Selas eyes were wide in fascination AylaÕs were half terrified half fascinated, three tiny black cubs came out of a cave in the water fall ÒThey. Are. SO. CUTE!!!Ó Sela and Ayla said the three cubs bounced on Ayla and Sela, Sela cuddled the cubs whilst Ayla was quivering and pretending not to be scared. ÒFOX! DEER! SQIRREIL!Ó birdy called Sela and Ayla stood up and watched two foxes, two deer, and four squirrels came jumping through the woods.
Ayla, Sela, Birdy, Bear, the three bear cubs, foxy and her cub, deer her cub and the squirrel family were sitting in the bear cave arrowed a fire, Òso, IÕve helped a girl stop being
invisible before so I know what to do.Ó The fox said. The cubs were cuddling Sela and Ayla, Òbut we need to get unicorn to defeat the ogre.Ó Sela and Ayla went white and ÒO-o-o-ogre? How?Ó Sela asked. They had a huge conversation and eventually Ayla and Sela fell asleep.
The next day they were out walking to the unicorn who was not far away and soon they found her, she had a silver horn and white fur with a silver main that sparkled Ayla loved her as soon as she saw her. Sela and Ayla had a huge conversation with the unicorn about what she was gunner do to the ogre, Ayla asked if she could turn her outfit into something Forestier instead of a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and fleecy jacket. ÒSureÓ the unicorn said and suddenly Ayla and Sela were wearing jeans and jackets with sneakers, Òthank you.Ó Sela and Ayla said. Soon they reached the ogre he was dirty green with a scare over his eye, he was about fifteen feet tall and three feet wide. ÒHello travelersÓ the ogre said in a snotty voice Òto get in you must answer one riddle.Ó ÒGo onÓ Deer said in a clear voice Òif you look at my face you wonÕt find thirteen anyplace.Ó Sela, Ayla, birdy and the animals whispered for a moment and got an answer. ÒA clock.Ó Sela said, everyone held their berth ÒARGGG!!Ó the ogre yelled, obviously they had gotten it right and the ogre was so mad he had put up a fight, unicorn jumped out and used her magic to force the ogre into a cliff the ogre yelped in pain and quickly got up to his feet and ran at the unicorn but the bear jumped up and bit into the ogres leg to pull him back and ran with the others to the garden. It was beautiful
there was a pond and blossoms and flower bushes everywhere, the squirrel family ran to a tree and pointed at a crystal apple. ÔHere! Over here!Ó they chatted Sela ran over and picked it from the tree ÒNow all we need to do is mix the apple and tail fathers together! Come on!Ó Sela exclaimed excitedly, with in the next minuet they had mixed all of it together and put it into a flask, Òthank you so much for helping us get here.Ó And they both took a small gulp of the silver liquid. Suddenly gold dust swirled arrowed the girls and they were no longer invisible.
Later they came back to their house with birdy and longed in the living room till their moms and dads and younger brothers came back, ÒOH MY GOSH WE WERE SO WORRIED! Where were you?Ó Said their moms Ònowhere.Ó The girls said and they all hugged each other.
The next day Ayla, Sela and birdy stopped outside ElsaÕs house before school. Ayla knocked on her door, Òyes?Ó Elsa said, Birdy handed her what was left in the flask Òafter all I did to those girls your heling my curse?Ó birdy nodded Òthank youÓ Elsa said and gave birdy a small flask full of pink liquid in return and walked into the house. Sela and Ayla smiled and carried on their walk to school.
