October 16, 1991. Keiko Oe (left) and Kevin Curran (right) count the $565 raised by ICPJ's 5 cents-a plate dinner, part of ICPJ's response to the Cathedral Fund $500-a-plate dinner. ICPJ's event raises funds for classrooms for a school in Ann Arbor's Nicaraguan sister city, where the classes must meet outside even in the rainy season.
