WHO'S ELIGIBLE FOR AN AADL CARD
If you live within the Ann Arbor Public Schools boundaries (with the exception of Northfield Township), or if you are a student or teacher at AAPS, you may obtain a resident library card with no fee.
Not sure if you're eligible? Find out if your address is in the AADL district by using this map.
If you're in the AADL district, here's how to get a card:
1) Fill out our library card application. You can get one at any desk, or download it and fill it out in advance.
2) Bring your application to any AADL desk along with a photo ID and some document showing your local address.
3) Not able to come in to the library? Contact us at ask@aadl.org for assistance.
Library cards are good for 2 years and can be renewed by showing proof of local address.
Not eligible for a free card? If you don't live within the district, but still want to get an AADL card, a fee-based card is available for $150.00 per year. Just bring in an application and photo ID. You can pay for a year up front, or 3 months at a time for $37.50 each time.
If you have any questions or concerns, email ask@aadl.org, text us at 734-327-4200 or call 734-327-4200 from noon-6pm weekdays.
