To Our Readers

Having obtained the subscription list of the late Signal of Liberty, we forward our first number to all the subscribers. Also to many others, and respectfully solicit the patronage of all to whom we send. Those who do not wish to patronize the paper, will send back a number marked with his name to the Editor. To those who had paid for the Signal in advance, we shall furnish our paper, beginning with the first number. If their subscription extends beyond a year, we shall send extra numbers for the surplus.

The report on the fourth page is an article embodying many important facts, and will richly repay the perusal.
