Death Of Fred. Spencer, Of The Dental Department
Fred Spencer, of Dowagiac, Mich., a freshman in the dental de)artment, died at 27 North Ingalls treet yesterday morning. His eath was caused by acute pneumonía, brought on by an attack of a grippe. His remains were taken home last ight and the funeral will occur tomorrow at his home. The freshman lass held a meeting this afternoon o take proper action regarding his eath. He is a son of Representative E. R. Spencer, of Cass county. He vas prominent in athletics, being a member of his department foot-ball :eam. Mr. Spencer had studied two 'ears at the Normal and was ahead f his class here. Dr. Dorrance speaks very highly of him as a stuent and he was considered one of the )rightest members of his class.
