Election two weeks from nex Monday. Mrs. D. Russell is quite sick a present, with la grippe. Edwin Butts' wife has been very low with pneumonía, but is a little better at present. There is one vacant house in Willis at present, the one lately vacated by F. Schwass. Married, on Sunday, March 15, Walter Thorn, of Willis, to Louise Hurd, of Martinsville. Sarah Niles has been visiting her parents for a few days, but returned to Ypsilanti last Sunday. B. F. Harris has sold his property in Willis, consisting of two houses and ten lots, to John Post of Van Buren township. Consideration, 1,500. Henry Johnson and his son, John, have got into some trouble and have begun a suit at Detroit, before the circuit court commissioner. The suit was called last Friday, but was adjourned until Monday, the 23d.
