New York, March 25.- The following letter from Mr. Parkerson, one of the leaders of the New Orleans mob, was published yesterday morning: "It appears to me that there has been a great deal of noise and waste of ink, paper, and electricity spent over the just executiou of eleven assassins, be they from Italy or any other country. Meetings have been held in every city where the 'Mafia' enjoys a home and we have been found guilty and condemned to the final punishment that the Mafia may elect to impose. Ihave yet to hear of a single meeting of Americans to indorse the action of Americans in disposing of these horrid reptiles that curse our country. There is not a i able Italian in this city who does not indorse our actions. Nothing to Apologize For. "We care nothing for the condemnation of such men as President D'Angelo, of the Society Fraterna. If he owns tiie eleven brutes who met their death at our hands as his countrymen and wishes to avenge their death, I hope he will hurry to do so. I hope he will collect every j black-eyed son of Sicily to his standard I and come to New Orleans ready for businss. We would welcome the dny to meet ten time our number in honorable Loinb.it, hut coufess that we are afraid of one D' Angelo crouching in tlie dark to st.tb us in the back. We have notuing to conceal, nothing to upologiza for and would repeat the act if the ccasion ever preseuteJ itself ;ií;;iíii
