Hon. John Plankinton Dead.

MILWAUKEE, Wis., March 30.--Hon. John Plankinton, one of Milwaukee's most enterprising and wealthy citizens, died at his home in this city at 8:50 o'clock last evening. Mr. Plankinton was stricken with paralysis over a year ago, and a short time ago he caught a cold which developed into pneumonia. He was born in the state of Delaware in 1820, and came to Milwaukee in 1844, and leaves a large fortune to two children.
