Mrs. George Litchard and little son, Ray, are both quite sick. It is reported that George Moon has purchased Charles Ellis' place on the ridge. The sugar party that was to be at the hotel, last Friday night, was'a failure. Want of guests. The young ladies of the Christian Endeavor Society are making a rag carpet for the parsonage. A. R. Draper's blacksmith shop is being repaired. A Mr. Cole wiil run the shop this summer. Mr. Conrad and wife came home from Quincy, last Thursday. They report Mr. Conrad's mother better. Samuel Firmen has rented G. Josenhan's house on Main street and wlll do teaming for A. G. McIntyre. C. D. Dickerson and wife went to Willis, Thursday, April ()th, to attend the wedding of Mr. Jay Dickerson and Miss Louie Freeman. Some movers went through town last week Tuesday with covered wagons. Byappearances, we should judge that they had come a long distance. We understood their destination was near Detroit.
