Failure At St. Joseph, Mo.

St. Joseph, Mo., April 4.- The wholesale boot and shoe store oL Smith, Blasland & Co. was closed yesterday by the sheriff on attachments aggregating $100,000, to satisfy the creditors of A. L. Smith, the senior meinber of the firm. The stock is valued at Ï250,u00 and all claims will be paid. Mr. Smith has turned over to the firm $200,000 worth of property to satisfy his personal debts.
