SheboïGAK, Mich., April J8. - The straits are almost clear of ice in the south passage as far as the eye can reach. There is no queBtion but that a steamer could get through the stationary ice east of the Shank and get through the straits. Capt. Mosier of this city telegraphs to the outside that the straits are open. He is fitting out his tug.
