The Boston Symphony Orchestra appears in University hall in the Choral Union series of concertsnext Tuesdayevening. Thisisoneof the greatest musical attractions in the country. In Detroit, tickets for the concert are placed at #1.25. Thé price for the course of four concerts in New Haven, Conn., the Boston Symphony Orchestra being one of the principal ones, is $5. -The price here for the series of five concerts is $2. Extra tickets for this concert alone are $1. The prices are given merely to show how highly the symphony orchestra is regarded by competent musical judges. Prof. A. A. Stanley will give a talk on the programme this evening at five o'clock in Room 24. The programme for the concert is as follows: Beethoven Overture, "Leonore," No. 3. Thomas Aria, f rom "Mignon." Mks.
