Tragedy In A Jail
Moneoe, Mich., April 27.- A tragedy occurred at the county jail Monday morning As ïurnkey Tehrer entered the cell of two colored tramps who were awaiting trial for attempted burglary, to remove their breakfast dishes, he was set upon and a desperate attempt made to secure his keys and thus to escape. The officer in the fight shot both men. Oae was killed iastantly and the other will die.
