It will readily be admitted that Saline and vicinity are rapidly becoming one of the best wool growing sections in the country, better sheep and heavier sheerers cannot be found. Mr. John Tate now breaks the record and last week sheared frotn a 3-year oíd buck a fleece that weighed 37 pounds, also 12 yearling buck lambs, sired by the above, average weight of fleece 14 pounds, and yearling ewe lambs, same grade, shearing an average of 12 pounds each. All these lambs are grade stock, and not thoroughbred. Mr. Tate takes much pride in his flock and is a good sheep
