Heir To Nearly $500,000

Charles W. Mellor, of this city, has recently fallen heir to a good sized fortune by the death in England, of his aunt, Harriet Mellor, relict of Lord George Radcliff, who left an estáte of 500,000 or in terms of our money [about $2,500,000. Mr. Mellor's share of the estáte will be one-sixth. The heirs are the five children of Lady Payne and Mr. Mellor and his two brothers. The three Mellor brothers together inherit one-half of theestate. Mr. Mellor's friends will be pleased to hear of his great good fortune.
