Those of our readers who contémplate spending the season at a sumraer resort on the lake side, wil! find it to their interest to inquire in to the advantages offered by Ottawa Beach and Macatawa Park, which are adjoining resorts in fact, practically one, situated on the shores of Lake Michigan and Macatawa Bay, about six miles west of Holland, or in other words, about thirty miles south west of Grand Rapids. Great improvements have been made there during the past few months, and the result is a second Coney Island. Great pavilioñs for dancing and refreshment have been built immediately on the waters edge. Board walks, fountains, rustic work and rustic seats have been provided, and the grand sandy beach which heretofore depended solely on its bathing attractions has been trans fermed into an attractive summer resting place. The wooded hills surrounding, with the pretty cottage peeping forth here and. there, from a back ground which completes a picture not excelled anywhere on the lake shores. Of course excursión tickets will be sold during the season, details of which can be secured from the ticket agents of the D. L. & N. and of the C. & W. M. Ry.
