Grand Rapids, Mich., May 27.- The Michigan synod of the Evangelical and Lutheran church closed the thirty-second annual session yesterday, and will meet next year in Detroit. Resolutions were adopted forbidding church members joining the Arbeiter Verein and requiring members who already belong to that society to choose between the Arbeiter and the church.
