An Accident At Lansing
Lansixg, Mich., Jime 1.- In the parade Memorial Day there was a large float containing forty-four womeu representing the states of the Union. While en route to the cemetery the platform gave way, and the horses took fright and stampeded. Several of the women were thrown out before the horses were stopped,but none of t hem more thanslightly bruised. WilliamHardy,vho was ou the float, had lus ankle badly smashed. He is severely but not fatall; hurt.
