Prof. Hinsdale's Latest Work

Prof. B. A. Hinsdale's latest book, "The American Government, National and State," is just being issued by the Inland Press. It is intended for the use of teachers and students of political science. The table of contents shows that the work is very comprehensive in its nature; though we have not seen a copy of the work, we judge froni a few sample pages that it will prove a most excellent textbook. The clearness of the language and the analytic method shown in the sample pages indicate that the work is one of great value, especially as it is written, as Prof. Hinsdale states, in the spirit of the aphorism: An Indestructible Union composed of Indestructible States. The press and paper are good and the work wil] not suffer because the printer has not done his work properly.
