Shamokih, Pa., June 17.- A strange romance has come to light m the town by the return of Charles Cameron, a cousin of United States Senator Don Cameron, who was supposed to have been murdered in a gambiing den at Richníond, Va., soon after the battle of Buil Run. In 1800 Cameron lef t his home in Pottsville, Me never returned, and Mrs. Cameron, hearing that he had been murdered, married William Madden ten years afterward. Madden was killed on the railroad, and Mrs. Madden removed to this place. Saturday morning, while standing at the door of het home, a stranger appeared and announced himself as Charles Canieron, the long lost husband. Mrs. Madden refused to receive him, and ordered him to leave, and he did so. At present iie is stopping with his son Simón.
