Changes In The Faculty

The regenta, this year, have elected rof. J. C. Knowlton permanent dean of the law department, and Dr. V. C. Vaughan. dean of the medical departmeait. vice Dr. C. L. Ford, resigned. )r. Ford retaius hls professorship. )r. John Abol was made professor of materia medica, Dr. N. S. Hoff was made a full professor in the dental deqartment. Dr. L. P. Hall's salary ia he dental d?pnrtment was put at $50C and" Dr. C. G. Darling was given $300 o lecture In that department. A. J. Hall was made instructor in mathematica, W. J. Husaey, instructor in astronomy; George H. Mead and Alfred 3. Loyd, instruetors in philosophy; W. H. Sherzer, instructor in zoology; R. Jj. Weeks, instructor in Frenen. Frank C. Wagner was appointed asBlstant professor in mechanical engiïeerlng, C. E. Adams aivs appointed director of the gymnasium, with title of assistant professor. Elmer E. Brown was appointed assistant professor of the science and art of teaching luring the absence of Prof. B. A. Hinsdale in Europe. Dr. George Dork waa appointed professor of the theory and practice of medicine for one yeár to ake the place of Dr. Christopher at a salary of si ,800. C. G. Taylor, superintendent of the mechanical engiteerlng shops, had hls salary increased to $1,800.
