Ann Arbor Maccabees
Another old-timer has passed away. James M. Kress, one of Bridgewaters prosperous farmers, died Wednesday afternoon, aged about 70 years. He has long been a prominent figure in Washtenaw county, being one of its oldest settlers. He was for a long time supervisor of Bridgewater township. In politics he was a staunch democrat and did his party good service. He leaves a wife and family and many friends to mourn his loss.
