A Week's Accidents

Yesterday afternoon Christian Roth,' a boy about twelve years oíd, and a young companion had a gun in their )ossession whichwas accidentally discharged. The gun eontained a cartridge loaded with 120 une shot. The charge atruck Roth on the lef t side of his face, making a hole large enough to put his flnger through, and tearing ;he gum away from the bone on that side of his face. This was the only njury done and the boy was laughing whileDr.3reakey dressed the wound. A peculiar feature was that not one of he shot could be found, one explanation being that the boy might have had lis mouth open and the shot passed out.
