Mrs. C. A. Mathewson is visiting in Chicago.

Mrs. H. B. Dodsley left for a week's stay in Chicago, Friday morning.

Thomas Leonard returned from a trip to Chicago, Friday morning.

Dr. A. C. Nichols has been visiting his father at Hudson, this week.

G. G. Stimson, of Ingersol, Ont., is visiting his brother, J. D. Stimson.

J. Miller, of Port Huron, spent Sunday with college friends in the city.

M. C. Sheehan, of Detroit, has been visiting his mother in this city this week.

Miss Lillie Condon returned Friday from Houghton, where she spent the summer.

Chris. Matthews, of Elkhart, Ind., has been visiting his mother in this city, this week.

Mrs. Elizabeth Wanty, of Muskegon, has been visiting friends in this city during the past week.

Fred W. Blake has resigned his position in Brown's drug store to enter the dental department.

Herbert H. Watts, of East Saginaw, spent several days this week with his mother on Liberty street.

Capt. E. P. Allen was in the city, Monday. He has just returned from a stumping tour in Massachusetts.

A. P. Ferguson is attending the St. Louis exposition, where he has a display of road carts, road wagons and carriages.

A. G. Hamlin, a former Saline boy, who has spent the past two years at Centralia, Wash., has accepted a position as clerk at the Two Sams.'

Wm. Seery, who had a leg taken off by the cars at Ypsilanti, a couple of weeks ago, was brought to his parents' house in this city, yesterday.

W. J. Just, who has sold out his lumber business here, has moved back to Greenville. He was in the city on business for a short time, Wednesday.
