Mr. Editor: Inasmueh as the tax rate is somevvhat higher than that of last year, aml that the taxpayers of the city will soon be callee! upon to pay their portion of $88,543 41- this being an increase over that of last year- it may be a relief to the minds of the taxpayers to know what the demands are thatgo to make up such an amount of money. also why it should exceed that of last year.
